2013 Season: Selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 22^nd round (659 overall) of the 2013 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, becoming the 43rd New Haven baseball player to be drafted by a Major League organization…Earned Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team honors…Made 11 appearances, including eight starts…Compiled a 4-3 record with a 3.81 ERA…Threw 59 innings, scattering 63 hits and 25 earned runs, while recording a team-high 60 strikeouts…Tossed one complete game…Allowed one run over six innings while allowing four hits and striking out nine to pick up the win over Bentley (3/23)…Struck out nine over five shutout innings of work to pick up the win at American Int’l (3/29)…Fired seven shutout innings, striking out eight against Le Moyne (4/13)…Tossed a complete game victory, allowing two earned runs and one walk while striking out five against Assumption (4/27).

2012 Season: Made 12 appearances with four starts on the mound…Threw 36.2 innings, tallying 13 earned runs for a 3.19 ERA…Recorded 27 strikeouts and 17 walks…Earned the win in relief in the season opener at Dowling (3/2)…Allowed one earned run over seven innings vs. Saint Michael’s (3/25)…Registered his lone save at Assumption (4/28).

2011 Season: Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie Team…Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week (5/9)…Appeared in 12 games, including two starts on the mound…Threw 34.2 innings, tallying three earned runs for a 0.78 earned run average…Recorded 20 strikeouts and 16 walks…Finished the season with zero earned runs in 10 of his 12 appearances…Collected four strikeouts with no earned runs in two innings in a 7-2 win at Post University on 4/21.

High School: All-Section honorable mention during his senior season at Scarsdale High School…Also played basketball.
