One of her strongest outings of her sophomore season came against Quinnipiac College in the championship of the New Haven City Series. She earned the win after pitching 13 innings as the Chargers won the series championship.
After pitching over 180 innings and posting 17 wins, Wiaderski became one of the most dominate players in New England during the 1996 season. The right-hander was named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Year and helped lead the Chargers to the NECC Softball Championship. She finished her junior season with a 17-10 record and a 1.61 earned run average. She recorded a nine-game winning streak midway through the season and fanned eight or more batters in three games.
