Dave McCabe ranks second at New Haven with 193 career points from 1966-69. He accumulated 85 goals and a program-record 108 assists in his career and earned two nods on the ECAC All-Star Team.

His best season came in 1965-66 in which he tallied 66 points comprised of 29 goals and 37 assists. Upon his graduation, McCabe held school records for most goals scored in a game with six and tied for most career hat tricks with six.
