The owner of three program records for New Haven men’s track and field, Eric Larson excelled both athletically and academically at UNH.
Larson was a three-time All-America honoree and a New England Champion in the 800-meters and 4x400-meter relay during his tenure, and was named the Most Outstanding Performer of the New England Collegiate Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships in his junior season.
His outdoor mark of 1:50.68 in the 800-meter still stands as the program record in 2015, as do his 4x400-meter relay standards in both indoor (3:15.25) and outdoor (3:09.89) track, where he joined fellow Hall of Famer Kevin Ross.
In the classroom, Larson was a member of the Dean List in all eight of his semesters at UNH en route to graduating
summa cum laude and receiving an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.
