The New Haven men’s track and field record holder in the 400-meter dash, Kevin Ross was a three-time All-America honoree and six-time NCAA qualifier from 1995-99. In addition to his standard of 47.97 seconds in the 400-meter dash, Ross was the anchor of the record-setting 4x400-meter relay team in both the indoor (3:15.25) and outdoor (3:09.89) seasons. A four-time New England Collegiate Conference Champion, he held NECC records in both the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes and was named the 1999 NECC Championship Athlete of the Year. Ross was also a two-time New England Champion and seven-time All-New England honoree in his career. He served as team captain of the track squad in both his junior and senior seasons.
