Welcome back, Chargers! I hope you are all ready for an exciting year full of fresh starts, new memories, and lots of laughs (and maybe, a few trophies)! We hope you all had a great first day of class and are excited for what is to come, whether you are starting your journey here or continuing it!
As we prepare for the upcoming season, the Varsity Esports Program is excited to announce that we are adding new games to our rosters and will be hosting tryouts for
all titles!Â
These titles (
tentatively, depending on interest) include: APEX Legends, Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, Marvel Rivals, Rainbow 6 Siege, Rocket League, Street Fighter 6, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Overwatch 2, and VALORANT.

Media Department
The Media Department for the Esports program has 4 different divisions: Broadcasting, Graphic Design, Video Content, and Writing, each with its own tasks and jobs. The Broadcasting and Video Content divisions are headed up by
Cassidy Steiner (Wantagh, NY/General Douglas MacArthur High School), while the Graphic Design and Writing divisions are led by
Emma Cassell (Wilton, CT/Wilton High School). The Media Department is overseen by Connor Lincavicks.
Broadcasting: Directing streams, commentating/shoutcasting, troubleshooting, and team management.
Graphic Design: Designing thumbnails, jerseys, social media posts, team graphics, and banners.
Video Content: Interviewing and filming players for social media content, editing videos, reviewing video footage, watching VODs for clips, and clipping content.
Writing: Interviewing players, writing articles, editing, and reviewing articles.
Federal Work Study Students
can be paid for this opportunity; however, we also take volunteers to help provide experience.
