Monica Yanez netted four goals in a 3-0 week for New Haven women's soccer. She scored the Chargers' third goal in a shutout win at NYIT on Monday, then netted the game-winner as New Haven blanked No. 23 Dowling on Thursday. Yanez capped her week with two markers, including the game-winner, in Saturday's 4-1 Northeast-10 win at Saint Anselm. Yanez has scored in each of New Haven's first four matches this season.
