Sommo made two very impressive appearances in the last two weeks. He posted an eight inning shutout appearance against UMass Lowell on Wednesday, May 11 in the opening round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championship tournament. Gave up just three hits, while fanning seven batters. Also threw eight innings in a 7-1 victory over Bentley University on May 1. Allowed no earned runs and struck out four. Concluded his senior season with a 1.54 ERA and a 4-1 record.
