Victor Jones was named the UNH Male Athlete of the Year. He helped lead the Chargers to an 8-2 record in 2010, including a Northeast-10 Conference Championship with a 6-2 mark in league play. The conference title was the second one in program history, with the first one dating back to that memorable 1979 campaign. Jones amassed 1,021 rushing yards on 201 attempts for 5.1 yards per carry. The junior also crossed the goal line 11 times in 2010. He was named to the All-Northeast-10 Conference First Team, the Football Gazette Super Region One Team and selected the area's top offensive college football player by the New Haven Gridiron Club.
