One of the most decorated athletes to ever compete for the Chargers track and field program, Briana Conyers ’15 now serves as a volunteer assistant coach for the Chargers, working primarily with the jumpers and multis.
A multi-time USTFCCCA All-American, All-East Region honoree and Northeast-10 Conference champion, Conyers capped her career as a Charger in style in 2015, garnering All-America honors in the triple jump in both indoor and outdoor at the DII National Championships. She also won the New England indoor and outdoor triple jump titles and was a member of the 4x100 relay team that captured the outdoor New England title. She was a six-time conference champion in the triple jump between the indoor and outdoor circuits, and added two runner-up finishes in the triple jump at NE10s over her four-year career.
As a multi, she won the conference heptathlon championship at the 2014 NE10 Outdoor Championships, and finished runner-up as a senior in 2015.
As of Fall 2019, Conyers is still the Chargers’ program record holder in the indoor (12.62m) and outdoor (12.69m) triple jump, as well as the heptathlon (4,438 points) and as a member of the 4x100 meter relay team (46.13).
