WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The University of New Haven men's and women's basketball teams host Adelphi University in a Northeast-10 Conference basketball doubleheader Tuesday, November 22. The women tip-off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m.

The UNH women (0-3, 0-1 NE-10) host the Panthers (1-2, 0-1 NE-10) in search of their first win of the season. Last year, the teams split the series with the Chargers earning a 78-60 victory at Charger Gymnasium in the season finale. Adelphi defeated UNH 74-64 in Garden City earlier in the 2010-11 season. New Haven holds a 20-8 all-time record against the Panthers.

The New Haven men (2-0, 1-0 NE-10) host Adelphi (1-1, 0-1 NE-10) in their second NE-10 contest of the year. New Haven is coming off an 80-73 overtime victory against the College of Saint Rose and look to improve their opening season winning streak to three tonight. Last season, UNH and Adelphi split their two meetings. The Chargers were the last team to defeat Adelphi prior to their NE-10 Championship run with a 73-71 victory in the season finale at Charger Gymnasium. Earlier in the 2010-11 season, the Panthers handed the Chargers a 62-47 loss in Garden City, N.Y. Adelphi holds the advantage in the all-time series with an 18-11 all-time record against UNH.
