WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The University of New Haven men's and women's basketball teams host Adelphi University in their final game's of the 2010-11 season on Wednesday night at Charger Gymnasium. The night is senior night for both of the teams as they recognize the seniors whole have dedicated their careers for the past four years. The women start at 5:30 p.m., while the men follow at 7:30 p.m.

The UNH women (2-23, 1-20 NE-10) host Adelphi (19-7, 13-7 NE-10) for the second time this season. The Chargers traveled to New York on December 7 and lost 74-64. New Haven shot 37.7-percent from the floor, while Adelphi connected on 51.9-percent from the field. UNH freshman Anh-Dao Tran led UNH with 19 points, but Adelphi had two scorers with 20-or-more points, Kara Tancredi and Ashley Caiafa. New Haven holds a 19-8 all-time record in 27 meetings with Adelphi.
The New Haven men (7-18, 5-16 NE-10) take on the Panthers (16-9, 12-9 NE-10), who have won five of their last six games. UNH played the Panthers in New York earlier this season and fell by a final of 62-47 on December 7. Justin Exum led New Haven with 18 points in the loss. Senior Robert Jamerson added 12 points, while the Chargers shot just 35.7-percent from the floor. The Chargers also turned the ball over 18 times in the game. Adelphi had three scorers in double-digits. The Panthers, who have already clinched a playoff spot, will be playing for a chance at the fourth overall seed in the NE-10 Championship. The Chargers have met the Panthers 28 other times and hold a 10-18 all-time record against Adelphi.
