Chargers Head Into Postseason, Face Pace Friday Night

WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The University of New Haven men's basketball team is making its first postseason appearance since 2006-07 on Friday, February 24. The Chargers, who earned the 10th seed in the Northeast-10 Conference Championship tournament, will travel to seventh seeded Pace University in the opening round game. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. in Pleasantville, N.Y. The winner of Friday's game will advance to take on the second seed, Adelphi University on Sunday, February 26 at 1 p.m.

Under second-year head coach Ted Hotaling, the Chargers posted a 14-12 mark in the regular season and a 10-12 record in the Northeast-10 Conference. The 14 wins are the most since the 2004-05 season when Jay Young led the Chargers to a 15-14 mark.
