New Haven football (4-3, 4-2 NE-10) carries the Northeast-10's longest active winning streak into a Homecoming Weekend showdown with the Merrimack College Warriors (3-4, 3-3 NE-10). The Chargers most recently posted their fourth consecutive win with a 31-24 victory at conference frontrunner and defending champion American International. Also this past Saturday, Merrimack was on the short side of 41-13 decision to visiting Assumption.
