EASTON, Mass. – The University of New Haven women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to the Skyhawks of Stonehill College in Northeast-10 Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
The Chargers now stand at 3-5-0 overall and 2-3-0 in the Northeast-10. The Skyhawks improve to 5-1-1 on the season with a 3-1-1 conference mark.Carolyn Moodie snuck one in the back of the net just before the half, giving Stonehill the 1-0 lead heading into the intermission. Lauren Kapatoes and Kate Wegener each tallied goals in the second half to round out the 3-0 final.Deandra Nash (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) played all 90 minutes in net for the Chargers, making six saves. Jamie Block posted the clean sheet for the Skyhawks.

The Chargers look to get back in the win column on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at American International.Â
New Haven returns to Kayo Field next Saturday, Oct. 4 for a visit from Merrimack.
