SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The University of New Haven men's basketball team concluded its regular season with a 72-41 road loss to the Le Moyne Dolphins in a Northeast-10 Conference game on Tuesday night. The Chargers are now 14-13 overall and 9-11 in the NE10.

Elijah Bailey (Freeport, N.Y./The Hotchkiss School) led the Blue and Gold with nine points followed by
Danny Upchurch (Bridgeport, Conn./Notre Dame Catholic) with six.
Kessly Felizor (Hightstown, N.J./Hightstown) topped New Haven with nine rebounds while
Michael Bourke (South Orange, N.J./The Hun School of Princeton) had three assists. Overall for the game, New Haven shot 29.4 percent (14-for-47) from the floor and 5-for-25 from beyond the arc.

The Blue and Gold got off to a slow start as Le Moyne opened a 12-2 lead just more than six minutes into the contest. New Haven found its form as the two teams played evenly during the next eight minutes as the Chargers pulled to within 24-15 on an Upchurch three-pointer with 5:25 to go in the frame before trailing 33-15 at the half.

To start the second half, Le Moyne scored 20 of the first 28 points. In the final 11 minutes, it was an even matchup with the New Haven bench providing most of the scoring output.
Najee Larcher (Brooklyn, N.Y./Xaverian) netted five points in the span with
Joseph Doganiero (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro) and
Tommy Hunt (Smithfield, R.I./St. Andrew's) also finding the scoring column.
