2017-18 Men's Soccer MVP: Pablo Perez

WEST HAVEN, Conn. - University of New Haven sophomore midfielder Pablo Perez (Medellin, Columbia/West Haven) has been named as the men's soccer MVP for the 2017-18 academic year and was recognized at the Department's Athletics and Senior Awards Banquet.
 
Perez was a focal point to the Charger's attack and seemed to have a hand in every goal that the Blue and Gold scored. The sophomore from Colombia had a stellar campaign netting three goals and assisting on two others.  In total, Perez tallied 1,060 minutes on the pitch and registered 14 shots on goal.
 
The Blue and Gold finished 3-13-1 with an impressive 2-1 victory against #21 Franklin Pierce.
