The Women's soccer team is back in West Haven on their home turf, Kathy Zolad Stadium, facing Pace University in an NE10 matchup on Wednesday afternoon

SERIES HISTORY
The series between Pace and New Haven dates back to 1998, with the all-time record between the two teams almost dead even, with a slight favor to the Chargers over the Setters (9-7-0). Pace has topped New Haven the past three times they have faced each other, including the past two times only decided by a single goal. At home, New Haven owns a 5-3 record against the Setters.

SCOUTING THE CHARGERS (2-5-1, 1-4 NE10)
Junior midfielder Jenna Peduzzi (Old Lyme, Conn./Old Lyme) leads the team in points and goals. Over the weekend Peduzzi touched in a single goal to get the win over Saint Michael's, capturing New Haven's first conference win of the season. For the season, she has collected four goals and one assist, tallying a total of nine points. Peduzzi's game-winning goal on Saturday came off of an assist from teammate Maaike Rahms (Waddinxveen, Netherlands), who recorded her first assist on the season. Samantha Roth (Hicksville, N.Y./St. Anthony's) currently stands second on the team for goals (2), assists (2) and points (6).Â
Senior Sorcha Ni Bhraonain (Galway, Ireland/Colaiste Cholmcille) leads the teams in assists, collecting three as a defender. Additionally, she added her first career goal this season and stands in third on the team with five points. Â

Defensively, New Haven's goalkeeper Paige Davis (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) collected her first shutout of the year on Saturday against Saint Michael's College. Davis has tallied 58 saves, with a .784 save percentage. Last game her defense shut Saint Michael's offense down, only allowing them to take just two shots on goal, which Davis was able to collect. Â

SCOUTING THE SETTERS (8-1-0, 4-1-0, NE10)Â
The Setters are led by Freshman Cecilia Puentes, who has tallied 20 points on the season. Puentes has scored nine of Pace's NE10 leading 24 goals. Leading the team in assists with seven is Junior Victoria Barris. The Setters offense has been attacking their opponent's heavily taking 149 shots this season, 73 on goal.Â

Pace goalkeeper, Jade Mallea has record four shutouts on the season. Mallea has tallied 17 saves, averaging a .708 save percentage.Â
