OPENING TIP
The Chargers will play at home for the sixth time in seven games to start the season when they host Saint Rose on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- The Chargers hold an 11-9 record all-time against the Golden Knights, with their first matchup coming back in 2009 during the Chargers' first season in the Northeast-10.
SCOUTING NEW HAVEN
- Winners of five of their first six games to start the season, the Chargers are looking to start 6-1 for the first time since 2014-15.
- New Haven's defense has been a dominating force to start the season, holding opponents to under 50 points in four games so far, including three in a row at one point. New Haven is the only team in the NE10 holding opponents to under 50 ppg on average (49.7) and limiting their opponents to a league-low field goal percentage of .316.
- Offensively, the Chargers are 14th in the conference, scoring 56.0 points per contest while shooting 40.7 percent from the floor (8th in NE10) and 27.6 percent (12th in NE10) from three-point range.

Aurora Deshaies (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Ludden) has scored double figures in five games this season, ranking third in the NE10 with a .596 field goal pct.
- Senior
Micah Wormack (Cumberland, Md./Allegany) is second on the team in ppg (11.5) and first in rebounding (8.0). She had a season-high 14-rebound, five-block performance on Saturday Nov. 23 against Le Moyne. She has 12+ rebounds on two occasions this season.
- Sophomore
Camryn DeBose (Wellington, Fla./Wellington Community) has scored double figures in three games with 7.0 ppg and is second with 5.8 rebounds per contest.

Brie Pergola (Torrington, Conn./Torrington) is third on the team in scoring (8.8 ppg) and is tied for third with 5.7 rebounds per game. She is also tied for 8th in the NE10 with 3.8 assists per game.
- Redshirt sophomore point guard
Luzdali Ocasio (Davenport, Fla./New Hampton) tied her career-high with six assists against Pace, matching her career-high mark from last season at UPR-Bayamon. She ranks 10th in the NE10 with 4.2 assists per game.
A key component to the team's defense against Le Moyne, she finished with a season-high four steals and dished out five assists.
- The Chargers were selected to finish third in the Southwest Division in this year's Northeast-10 Preseason Coaches' Poll. New Haven returns four players that started in at least 17 games last season.
SCOUTING SAINT ROSE
- Saint Rose enters this weekend sitting at 3-4 (0-3 NE10). The Knights have lost three straight, including a tough five-point overtime loss at home to Pace on Wednesday.
- Saint Rose ranks 10th in the NE10 this season by scoring 60.1 ppg, and is shooting at a 38.5 percent clip from the floor. Defensively, they are allowing 67.4 ppg, second-most in the NE10.
- Leah Dollard leads the Golden Knights with 12.1 ppg this season, while Nina Fedullo is also scoring in double figures (11.6 ppg) and leads the team in rebounding with 8.1 boards per contest.
- Becca Townes leads Saint Rose from three-point range at 37.9 percent.
LAST TIME THEY MET
On Feb 6, 2019, a strong second half push and a strong defensive effort from the Chargers lifted New Haven to a big 55-37 win over Saint Rose. Senior
Katia Oge (New City, N.Y./Immaculate Heart Academy) picked up her first double-double of the season 12 points and a season-high 11 rebounds on 5-for-7 shooting. Freshman
Camryn DeBose (Wellington, Fla./Wellington Community) tallied a game-high 16 points to go with four steals, while
Micah Wormack (Cumberland, Md./Allegany) and
Alexandria Kerr (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) each added eight points and nine rebounds. Junior
Kim Talley (Quakertown, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) chipped in a season-best three steals.
The Chargers took control of the game using a huge 25-2 run, spanning from late in the second quarter to early in the fourth, including a 16-2 outburst in the third quarter.
