WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven women's tennis will play a pair of matches this weekend, beginning Saturday when they travel to Saint Anselm at 12 pm. Just 24 hours later, the Chargers will return home to host non-conference foe Molloy on Sunday afternoon.

SCOUTING THE CHARGERS (3-3, 3-3 NE10)
New Haven enters the weekend following a 5-0 loss at the hands of Adelphi. The freshmen have shined on the young season as the trio of Kacie Banks (Marietta, Ga./Marietta), Katherine MacPhail (Park City, Utah/Judge Memorial Catholic) and Alexa Orlando (Frederick, Md./Middletown) all maintain a winning record on the year.

The Blue and Gold will look to make it 10 wins in as many matches all-time against Molloy on Sunday, as the Lions have failed to emerge victorious in the history of the series.

SCOUTING THE HAWKS (1-6, 0-5 NE10)
Saint Anselm will come into Saturday looking to end a five-match skid and win just their second match on the year, with the only win thus far coming in their home opener against Plymouth, 4-3.

Freshman Anastasia Kapothanasis comes into the meeting with New Haven with a 4-3 record in singles contests, which leads the team.

SCOUTING THE LIONS (1-3, 0-2 ECC)
Molloy also enters their meeting with the Chargers looking for their second win of the year with the lone victory for the Lions coming by way of a 7-0 sweep of East Stroudsburg on Sept. 18. The Lions will also look to earn their first win against New Haven in program history.

The Chargers will return to action on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 3 p.m. when they host Concordia at the New Haven Tennis Courts.
