SERIES HISTORY
Friday's matchup will be the 14
th all-time between the Chargers and the Eagles. New Haven boast an impressive 13 wins in 14 all time matches against Post. The Chargers have beaten the Eagles the past six times they have faced each-other. Click here for a complete series history.
SCOUTING THE CHARGERS
The Chargers have six vital seniors who returned for their final season on the pitch. In addition to the seniors is returning goalkeeper
Paige Davis (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) who appeared and started in 12 of the Chargers games last year. Davis recorded a season-high 11 saves against Franklin Pierce. Also returning to the field is senior midfielder/defender
Sorcha Ni Bhraonain (Galway, Ireland/Colaiste Cholmcille), who has been a key player for the Chargers over the course of her career.
Along with Davis and Ni Braonain, returning for the Chargers is midfielder
Jenna Peduzzi (Old Lyme, Conn./Old Lyme), who finished last season third on the team with 17 total shots.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES (0-0, 0-0, CACC)
The Eagle are heading into their second season under Head coach Stephanie Demake who welcomes eight new freshmen to their roster. The Eagles were picked seventh in the CACC preseason coaches poll. Post University is looking to have a comeback season this year after coming off a losing record last season. They are returning top scorer for sophomore Gorgi Van Lienen. The Eagles are opening their season against the Chargers, following playing Pace University.
SCOUTING THE LIONS (0-0,0-0 , CACC)
Georgian Court University was ranked first in the coaches preseason poll, where they received six first place votes. The Lions will kick off their season playing Pace University on September 6 (7:30 PM). Returning to the Lions roster is 2017 D2CAA All-America, Anissia Fucci, who collected 11 goals and 3 assists. Georgian Court is coming off a strong 2018 that included an unbeaten conference record with a mark of 11-0-1.

Upon returning to the West Haven, the Chargers will open up their eight game home schedule against Bloomfield. Following their first home, they will hold their first NE10 matchup against Stonehill Saturday September 14
