BOX SCORE MILFORD, Conn. - The New Haven women's tennis team dropped its final match of the regular season 5-1 to Adelphi Thursday afternoon at the Milford Indoor Tennis Center. Following the loss, the Chargers close out the regular season 5-7 overall and 4-6 NE10 and will now await the bracket for the 2021 Northeast-10 Conference Championships which will be revealed on the evening of Friday, Apr. 23.

Nicole Mika (Staten Island, N.Y./Laurel Springs) battled closely with her opponent before falling in three sets 4-6, 6-4, 6-8 at third singles. Graduate
Ivana Andric (Griesheim, Germany) also went three sets in the top solo spot, with the match going unfinished in the tiebreaker round.

Following the announcement of the championship bracket, first round play will begin on Sunday, Apr. 25 with the top-five seeds earning a bye to the quarterfinals.
