West Haven, Conn. - After experiencing their first loss on the road to Stonehill, the Chargers are back to their home stadium Wednesday night. Coming from the suburbs of Boston, the Bentley University Falcons will arrive lacking the feeling of victory, hungry for their first win of the season.

Series History
The series between New Haven and Bentley dates all the way back to 1993. In the 23 times these two teams have been on the same field, the Chargers have had 11 victories, paired with ten losses and two draws. The Blue and Gold have lost the past four games, which goes back to 2016, including a 2-1 loss in overtime in 2017.

Scouting the Chargers (3-1, 0-1 NE10)
The Chargers started their season on a three-game win streak with victories over Post, Georgian Court, and Bloomfield. However, their first game on the road, which also doubled as their first conference game of the season, they fell 2-1 in overtime to Stonehill. The first half remained scoreless, and both teams were able to find the net once in the second half. But when extra playing time was forced, it was Chargers that went home absent of a win. Goalkeeper Paige Davis (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) accumulated a season-high of seven saves.

Scouting the Falcons (0-1-2, 0-0 NE10)
Bentley has gone through their season so far without a win. Of their three games thus far, all have gone into double overtimes. Their season opener against Molloy resulted in a 1-0 loss, and their two games that followed ended in 1-1 draws. In both occasions where Bentley was able to put up a point, it was senior Dana Goulet that scored in both events. She will definitely be a player the Charges have to be aggressive towards on the defensive end come Wednesday.

When and Where
Kathy Zolad Stadium will host the Falcons on Wednesday Sept. 15th with kickoff premiering at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcasted live on the Charger Sports Network on NE10 NOW. Live stats will also be available via NewHavenChargers.com.
