THE LEAD
The Chargers will put their unbeaten NE10 record back on the line on Wednesday night when they host American International under the lights at DellaCamera Stadium. The three conference wins is the first time the Chargers have won their first three straight in league play, while the two shutouts in that stretch set a program record for a single season. Wednesday night's game against AIC is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. with all of the action available live on the Charger Sports Network on NE10 NOW using the link to the right.

SERIES HISTORY VS AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL
After opening the all-time series with three straight losses, the Chargers picked up their first win over their conference rival in 2019 with a 2-1 decision at Abdow Field in Springfield. Prior to that victory, the Yellow Jackets had outscored UNH 12-3, including a 2-0 shutout of the Blue and Gold earlier in that 2019 campaign. Overall, the Yellow Jackets hold a 3-1 lead in the all-time series.

SCOUTING THE CHARGERS
Two new players got in on the scoring action in their most recent victory, a 3-1 decision over the Saint Michael's Purple Knights as the Chargers extended their unbeaten NE10 record to 3-0 with the road win. Those two freshman scorers against Saint Michael's, Kelli Jacobson (North Branford, Conn./North Branford) and Audrey Larson (Gilroy, Calif./Gilroy), means that six different players have now found the back of the cage in 2021, led by seniors Aexis Rider and Reilly Biako who have scored three and two goals, respectively. Fellow classmate Taylor Geaglone (Enfield, Conn./Enfield) leads the team with two assists, and is one of six players to record at least one helper. In goal, graduate transfer Keira Integlia (Branford, Conn./Branford) put up her best numbers of the season last week, collecting 22 total saves including back-to-back eight save outings against Pace and West Chester. Overall for the year, Integlia has stopped 30 shots.

SCOUTING THE YELLOW JACKETS
American International enters Wednesday night with a 5-2 overall record and a 3-1 mark in its first four conference games. The lone loss in that league record came against No. 4 Assumption, while the wins came over Franklin Pierce (3-2 in OT), Molloy (2-0) and Southern Connecticut (2-1). Also included in the win column for AIC was a 3-2 season opening victory over No. 9 Southern New Hampshire in a non-conference match-up. Overall for the season five different players have accounted for the Yellow Jackets 12 wins, led by sophomore forward Na'Bree Wallace who has four goals and an assist to her credit. The four goals for Wallace came in three different games. Following her in leading the team is junior Shannon Cormier who has scored three goals and has dished out a pair of assists. In goal, junior Jessica Stone has started all seven games and racked up 44 saves, fourth most in the NE10.

INTEGLIA NAMED TO NE10 WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Following a week where she racked up 22 saves, including back-to-back eight save outings against Pace and West Chester, graduate transfer goalkeeper Keira Integlia (Branford, Conn./Branford) was named to the NE10's weekly honor roll on Monday, September 20. Integlia is the second player to earn the honor after senior Alexis Rider (Delran, N.J./Delran) picked up the distinction last week after a two-goal performance against Saint Michael's.
