Following the senior day festivities the Chargers and Dolphins took to the court with both teams splitting the first four points of the match. The lead the blue and gold created during the streak would be the difference maker after a late surge by the dolphins in the set was shut down when Emily Barry (Freeport, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy) slammed the door with a kill to take the set 25-21 and go up 2-0 in the match. The third set opened up quickly with Macy Brown (Cadillac, Mich./Cadillac) and Emily Barry (Freeport, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy) both picking up kills to take the early lead 2-0.
