WEST HAVEN, Conn. – For their final match of the regular season the University of New Haven Women's soccer team welcomed the Golden Knights of Saint Rose as the blue and gold looked to knock off the top team in the conference.

Against one of the top teams in the conference and nation, the Chargers defense had to step up in the match and weathered the storm of the Golden Knights attack fending off 15 shots in the first half conceding only one goal going into the break. In the second half the chargers faced another 9 shots conceding three in the second half. Caitlin Daley (Norwich, Conn./Norwich Free Academy) finished the match with 12 saves as New Haven got a pair of shots off in the second half late.

With the season complete New Haven finished 3-13 overall and 1-10 in conference play. The blue and gold graduated 12 and look to rebuild ahead of the 2024 season with a strong core that adds another year of experience to their time in the blue and gold.
