WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven Field Hockey celebrated its seniors pregame on Sunday, November 2, before taking an 8-0 loss to wrap up its 2025 season.
New Haven kept it close after the first quarter, down only 1-0, but the LIU lead grew to 3-0 by halftime. It doubled to 6-0 after three quarters, and another pair in the final 15 minutes resulted in the 8-0 final.
Lotte Haagmans found the back of the cage four times for the Sharks, while Tess Termars and GiGi Ronoldo scored a pair of goals each. Termars finished with three assists.
Anne Marie Martin (Louisville, Ky.) started the game in net for the Blue & Gold, stopping four of seven shots on target.
Rae Kline (Brookline, N.H./Hollis Brookline) played the final 38:22 and allowed five goals on 11 shots.
