King leads the game in points, but comeback falls short

BOX SCORE Pleasantville, N.Y- Chargers comeback fall shorts against pace. University of New Haven men's basketball team record goes to 11-13 on the season and 7-10 in the Northeast- 10 conference.

Another slow start in the game where the Chargers didn't see their first basket until 6 minutes into the first half with a lay-up by Ugo Nwachukwu (Imo State, Nigeria/Springfield Commonwealth Academy).

The second half was a different game as the Chargers cut the lead two 37-35. Jah'Likai King (Newburgh, N.Y./Newburgh Free Academy) led the game with 21 points. King did this 8-for-17 shooting and 3-for-4 behind the arc. Chargers did out score the Setters in the second half 42-41.

The charger's next game is a quick turnaround playing Thursday February 13 on playing a non-conference game against Bloomfield College tip off scheduled for 6:00.
