Second Half Comeback Falls Short in Overtime

Colchester, VT- Comeback falls short as Chargers force OT to lose 74-73. With the lost the University of New Haven men's basketball falls to 12-15 on the regular season and 7-12 in the Northeast-10.
 
Overall, three Chargers finished the game in double figures. Tristian Jeffries (Hillside, N.J./Saint Thomas Aquinas) finishing the game with a team high 20 points on 8-for-17 from the field. Jeffries also added a team high in steals with three. The duo that also finished in double figures was Mohamed Traore (Hyde Park, Mass./Matignon) and Jah'Likai King (Newburgh, N.Y./Newburgh Free Academy).
 
The team overall stepped it up in the second half shooting 40 percent from the field and 46 percent from the behind the arc.
 
Up  next for the Charger is a trip to Garden City as they play the final regular season game on February 25 against Adelphi for a 7:30 pm tip off.
