Four players lead a Second Half Comeback in a Charger Victory

Colchester, VT- A Second half comeback leads the Chargers to victory over the Purple Knights 45-42, with the win the University of New Haven women's basketball improve 16-9 on the season and 11-8 in Northeast-10 Conference.

With four players finishing the game in double figures. Lead by the veterans of the team the four players who finished were all upperclassmen. Having the team high was senior Paige Cote (Sanford, Maine/Sanford) as she finished the game with 12 points shooting from the field 5-for-13. Paige also led the game in blocks with having three. A trio of Chargers finishing the game with 10 points was Aniya McDonald-Perry (Middletown, Conn./Putnam Science Academy), Sabira Ahayeva (Minsk, Belarus/Minsk #27), and Charlotte Bassett (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury).
 
Up next for the Chargers is a road trip down to Garden City on Tuesday February 25 for a schedule tip off at 5:30 pm.
