Najimi George (Bridgeport, Conn./Kolbe Cathedral) the New Haven men's basketball team dropped an 66-58 decision to the Saint Michael's Purple Knights in the opening round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championship. With the loss, New Haven wraps up its 2024-25 season with a 12-17 overall record after concluding the regular season with a 7-13 record in Northeast-10 Conference action.
Overall, George was part of duo who finished in double figures as he was joined by
Jah'Likai King (Newburgh, N.Y./Newburgh Free Academy). King finished the game with 21 points shooting 9-for16 from the field. King also finished the game perfect from the charity stripe.
George started his playoff career with a bang. George finished the game with 23 points. He did this on 9-for-15 from the field and 3-for-5 from behind the arc.
