MANCHESTER, N.H. – Behind winning another game in the rebound battle the University of New Haven Women's basketball team drops a road decision to Saint Anselm 63-37 on Wednesday at Stoutenburgh Gym. With the loss, New Haven falls to 13-8 on the season and 8-7 in the Northeast-10 Conference
 
Leading the Chargers in the game was graduate center Paige Cote (Sanford, Maine/Sanford) with 11 points and six of those points coming from the free throw line as she was six for eight from the line tonight. Bringing her season shooting from the charity stripe to 80 percent. Cote did add three rebounds to the teams 36 one on the offense glass and two on the defensive glass.
 
In back-to-back games the Chargers have won the rebounding battle against their opponent. While grabbing 36 rebounds the Chargers won the offensive rebound and defensive rebound category in tonight's game seeing four Chargers have six rebounds, Sabria Ahayeva, Charlotte Bassett (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury), Lindsay Hogan (Bayville, N.Y./Locust Valley), Aniya McDonald-Perry (Middletown, Conn./Putnam Science Academy).
 
The Chargers next game is senior night when the Chargers welcome the yellow jackets of American International college to Deborah Chin court on Saturday, February 8 with tip off schedule for 1:30 pm. They return to the road on Tuesday February 11 at 5:30 pm against The Setters of Pace University.
