BOX SCORE West Haven, Conn- Charlotte Bassett (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury) leads Chargers on Senior Night, the University of New Haven Women's basketball team dropped a home decision to American international College 70-56 on Saturday afternoon at the Jeffery P. Hazell Athletics Center. With the loss, New Haven falls to 13-8 on the season and 8-8 in the Northeast-10 Conference.
 
 
On senior night 
Charlotte Bassett (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury) leads the team in scoring tonight with a team high 13 points. Bassett was five for eight from the field. She also added 50 percent from behind the arc. Bassett's presence was on the defensive glass with adding five rebounds she ended the game with seven rebounds.
 
As a team the Chargers shot very well from the charity stripe ending the game 14-for-18. With 
Schuyler Coles (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township) and 
Lindsay Hogan (Bayville, N.Y./Locust Valley) going perfect combing for a perfect eight for eight. Additionally senior 
Paige Cote (Sanford, Maine/Sanford) added a three for four behind the charity stripe.
 
Up next for the Chargers is a road trip to the Setters of Pace University schedule for Tuesday February 11 at 5:30 pm. They return home to Jeffery P. Hazell Athletics Center on February 19 at 5:30 pm against cross-town rival Southern Connecticut State University.
