WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven Football has announced its schedule for the 2025 season. Following the move to Division I, the Blue and Gold will face teams from across the country and various conferences. The schedule features four first-time opponents and rivalries renewed as the Chargers look to make their mark in the NCAA's most competitive division.
New Haven will open its season on the road for the second-consecutive year in Poughkeepsie, New York, as it visits the Marist Red Foxes. The opener is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 29, under the lights.
Following the opener, the Chargers will continue their road schedule, traveling to Erie, Pennsylvania for an afternoon showdown with the Mercyhurst Lakers on Saturday, Sept. 6.
The road trip continues on Sept. 13, as the Chargers head to Albany, New York, to face the University at Albany Great Danes. This matchup marks the first time in program history that New Haven will meet Albany on the gridiron.
