Clark Named Deputy Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator

WEST HAVEN, Conn. - University of New Haven Director of Athletics Devin Crosby has announced the addition of Becky Clark as Deputy Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator.

Clark joins the Blue & Gold after six years at Eckerd College, where she served the school in different athletic administration roles, most recently serving as Associate AD for Internal Operations and Compliance/SWA. At Eckerd, Clark led compliance, business operations, and student-athlete development efforts. Clark also served as the department's Title IX Coordinator and was a member of the senior leadership team.

"We are excited to welcome Becky to New Haven. Her extensive background in NCAA compliance, mentoring head coaches, managing budgets, and elevating the student-athlete experience will be a tremendous asset. Becky is one of the elite administrators in higher education, and we are grateful to bring her experience to the Blue & Gold," Crosby said.
Clark was nationally recognized as an NAAC Emerging Leader in 2025 and is a graduate of the NCAA Pathway Program, Leadership Academy Workshop, and D2 ADA Women and Minorities Mentoring Program. Each program has been recognized for preparing future athletic directors and senior leaders.

An advocate for student-athlete welfare, Clark spearheaded many new initiatives aimed at increasing development, leadership, and equity. She also added programming for National Girls and Women in Sports Day and established Eckerd's chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.

"I am grateful to God for this new chapter and honored to join the University of New Haven during such a pivotal time. Returning to the Northeast and contributing to an institution with a rich athletic tradition is deeply meaningful. I extend my sincere thanks to President Frederiksen, Director of Athletics Devin Crosby, Deputy AD Cole Richter, and the entire New Haven community for their warm welcome. I look forward to advancing the student-athlete experience as a proud Charger," Clark said.

Under her leadership as staff advisor, SAAC increased alumni networking events, community service projects, mental health advocacy campaigns, and a wheelchair basketball clinic to promote adaptive sports.

Clark was a standout student-athlete at Fredonia State, where she still holds multiple basketball records, including career points (1604), points in a game (44), points in a season (538), career scoring average (16.9), and career field goals made (592). She earned WBCA Honorable Mention All-American, Capital One Academic All-District Team, Josten's Award Finalist, and CoSIDA Academic All-American awards.

She was inducted into the Fredonia Athletics Hall of Fame in 2024 and the Hilton High School Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018.
