Layla Coppola (Woodbury, Conn./Nonnewaug) fired a pair of New Haven's three shots on target in the match with
Janayah Body (West Hartford, Conn./Lawrence Academy) taking the other.
Emily Supple scored twice for the Bulldogs, the first via penalty kick, and Ava Feeley had the other for Bryant. Supple had the assist on Feeley's goal, adding to her two goals.
Caitlin Daley (Norwich, Conn./Norwich Free Academy) had a strong game in net for the Blue & Gold, stopping seven of 10 shots she faced.
New Haven travels to Poughkeepsie, N.Y. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, to visit the Red Foxes of Marist University. Opening kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
