HACKENSACK, N.J. — New Haven (13-15, 8-7 NEC) secured an 84-77 victory over FDU (11-18, 8-8 NEC) on Saturday night at the Bogota Savings Bank Center. The Chargers' offense was powered by 14 three-pointers, well above their season average of 6.41, playing a crucial role in the win.
The Chargers set the tone early, jumping to a 12-0 lead by the 16:59 mark of the first half, highlighted by
Stefano Faloppa's (Portogruaro, Italy/Holy Cross Prep) three-pointer.
Jabri Fitzpatrick (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick) added a three-pointer and assisted
Najimi George (Bridgeport, Conn./Kolbe Cathedral) for another, extending the lead to 15-0. Fitzpatrick, who tallied a season-high 32 points, has been consistently impressive, hitting at least 11 field goals in two consecutive games.
