WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven Women's Basketball, under the leadership of Head Coach Debbie Buff, is set to open the away portion of the 2026-27 season at the University of Tennessee. The matchup is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, at Food City Center, marking the first-ever meeting on the court between the two teams.

New Haven continues its journey in NCAA Division I basketball, with the matchup at Tennessee marking the beginning of the second season in the NEC for the Blue & Gold. Since transitioning to Division I, Head Coach Debbie Buff has been instrumental in navigating the team through a challenging schedule. 

Buff currently sits second in program history for wins by a head coach (95), sitting just one shy of tying the all-time mark. Buff's eighth season at New Haven will see her program endure a big test early, taking on one of the most storied programs in women's college basketball.
