WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven Men's Basketball alum Kessly Felizor has signed a professional contract with SD Espanyol Smartclinic in Spain. Felizor is entering his seventh season in the professional ranks overseas.

Felizor played last season at Jaen Paraiso Interior CB in the Tercera FEB, where he averaged 8.2ppg and 6.0rpg in 24 Segunda FEB games.

At New Haven, Felizor appeared in 111 games, with 100 starts. He became the 36th player in program history to score 1,000 points and sits 29th all-time in scoring in program history. Felizor was named to the conference's All-Rookie Team in 2017, led the team in rebounding in all four years while wearing the Blue & Gold, led the team in blocks during the 2019-20 campaign, led the team in field goal percentage in back-to-back years in 2018-19 and 2019-20, led the team in free throw percentage in 2018-19, sits fifth all-time in program history in field goal percentage (.549), and seventh all-time in rebounds (922).
