2022: Earned Academic Distinction accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll following both the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters … Made an appearance in all 11 games, finishing the season second on the team with 360 rushing yards on 53 carries and scored four touchdowns … Set a season-high with 105 yards, his only 100+ rushing game of the season, against Post (Oct 15), with those 105 yards coming on just eight attempts with his longest of the day 43 yards … Also scored a pair of touchdowns against the Eagles … Longest run of the season came on the road at crosstown Rival Southern Connecticut State University (Nov. 12) where he broke through for a 76-yard touchdown, finishing the annual battle for the Elm City Trophy with 82 yards total … Also added one reception on the year for three yards, that also coming against SCSU … Spent time as a return specialist, with five kick returns racking up 80 total yards and added four tackles while on special teams.

Prior to New Haven: Transferred to New Haven following three seasons at Marist where he was twice named Honorable Mention All-Patriot League and received All-Patriot League Academic Honors twice … Started all 10 games last season, leading the team with 482 rushing yards for an average of 4.9 yards per carry and tied for the team lead with four rushing touchdowns … Had a season-high 141 rushing yards and a pair of TDs against Valparaiso … Also caught 10 passes for 52 yards and a touchdown … Also led the team with 674 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns in the 2019 season … Ran for a season-high 178 yards and two touchdowns against Davidson.

High School: Played three seasons of varsity football, including one as team captain, for the Nighthawks of Newtown High School … Received First Team Class LL All-State and First Team All-Conference honors.

Personal: Son of Madeline Wright and James Cobb … Has two siblings, a younger brother Hampton and an older sister Haley … Pursuing a Master of Art in clinical mental health counseling.
