2023: Earned Academic Distinction accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll following both the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters … Made an appearance in six games, starting twice … Closed out the season with nine total tackles, seven of which were unassisted … Set a season-high with three tackles, all unassisted, against Lincoln-Calif. (Oct. 7), which included his only tackle for loss of the year, resulting in a 16-yard loss … Also added one pass breakup which came in addition to a pair of unassisted tackles against Franklin Pierce (Sep. 23).

Before New Haven: Transferred to New Haven from Sacred Heart University where he played two seasons for the Pioneers … Made six game appearances for the Pioneers, collecting a total of five tackles, all of which came during the 2022 season.

High School: Played four years of varsity football for the Knights of Southington High School … Served one season as team captain … Earned All-State Honors as a senior after racking up 35 tackles, including 20 solo.

Personal: Son of Karen and Edwin Montalvo … Has one sister, Vanessa … Pursuing a Master of Science in criminal justice.
