2023-24: Competed in seven events during his rookie campaign with the Chargers … Closed out the year with an 82.44 stroke average across 16 total rounds … Saw his best finish come at the Hartford Hawks Spring Invitational where he finished 29th among a field of 45 golfers with an 36-hole 167 … Finished his first Northeast-10 Conference Championship in 37th place, out of 50, with a +27 over the 54-hole event, including opening up the three-day event with his lowest single round of 73, +2 on the course at the Springfield Country Club … Saw his lowest two-round total come at the Southern New Hampshire Penmen Invitational in the spring where he finished with a 156, +12, including a +4, 76 in his second round … Earned Academic Distinction accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll and named to the New Haven Dean’s List following both the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters.

High School: A member of the golf team for three years at Woodstock North High School … Served as a team captain for the Thunder for two years … Also played one season of basketball and tennis … Named the 2023 Kishwaukee River Valley Conference Player of the Year in 2023 … Twice received All-Conference honors and named the Team MVP. 

Personal: Son of Kristine and Frank Ferru … Has one older sister, Sophia and one younger brother, Leo … Majoring in electrical and computer engineering.
