2023: Named to the Associated Press All-America Second Team … Named Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Year while earning a spot on the All-Conference First Team … Selected to the New England Football Writer All-New England Team as well as to the Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association All-Super Region 1 Team … Off the field, was named a College Sports Communicators Academic All-American after being selected All-District and NE10 Academic All-Conference … Started all 11 games as a key leader on the Chargers defense … Finished the season fourth on the team with 57 total tackles, 31 of them un assisted with 26 assisted tackles … Among those 57 tackles were four tackles for loss while he led the team and was tied for the team lead in the NE10 with five interceptions for a total of 63 yards … Also led the team with eight pass breakups for a total of 12 passes defended, a team-best … His 0.5 interceptions per game average was 13th highest in all of NCAA Division II, while he was 27th in the nation with his average of 1.2 passes defended per game … Finished all 11 games with at least two tackles, setting a career-high with 10 tackles, six of them unassisted, against crosstown rival Southern Connecticut (Sep. 16) … Finished with one interception in each of the first three games, returning his first of the season for a touchdown against Frostburg State (Aug. 31) … His longest return on an interception was 28 yards which came on the road at Bentley (Sep. 9) … In addition to the SCSU game, finished six total games with 5+ tackles, including closing out the season with nine total tackles in the NCAA playoff game against Charleston (Nov.18), which included a season-high seven unassisted tackles.
2022: Earned Academic Distinction accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll and named to the New Haven Dean’s List following both the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters … Made an appearance in 10 games, starting in one against Post (Oct. 15) … Racked up 31 total tackles on the season, 20 of them were solo tackles … Added five pass breakups … Finished with at least one tackle in all 10 games he played in, setting a season-high in the final game of the season, the NCAA playoff game against Shepherd (Nov. 19) with seven tackles … Also finished the first game against crosstown rival Southern Connecticut (Sep. 10) with six tackles and added a pair of breakups against the Owls … Added one Kick Return on the season, that against Bentley (Sep. 23) and scooped up 27 yards on that return.
2021: Earned Academic Honors accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll following both the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters … Made an appearance in 11 games as a true freshman, finishing the season with 16 tackles, an interception and a pair of blocked kicks … Finished with at least one tackle in eight games … Set a season-high with four stops in a conference game against Stonehill (Oct. 23) … Also finished that game with his lone interception and both blocked kicks … Opened up his career with three tackles in the season opener against Franklin Pierce (Sep. 4).
High School: Played varsity football for three years and was named captain for one season … Made First Team All-Conference junior and senior year … Made Second team All-State senior year … Also played basketball for three seasons.
