2023: Earned Academic Distinction accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll following both the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters … Made an appearance in five games … Finished the season with five total tackles, splitting them across a trio of games … Finished with two tackles on two occasions, against Assumption (Oct. 28) and in the NCAA playoff game against Charleston (Nov. 18).

Before New Haven: Transferred to New Haven from Delaware where he played in four games for the Blue Hens, all during the 2022 season.

High School: Played three seasons of varsity football for the Indians of John Jay High School … Helped the Indians claim the first ever state championship in his senior season … First Team All-League and All-State honoree following his senior year … Received the 2018 Golden Dozen Award presented by the Westchester Chapter of the National Football Foundation and the Hall of Fame … John Jay posted back-to-back undefeated regular seasons.

Personal: Son of Jackie and Michael Novick who was an offensive lineman at Stony Brook University … Has one sister, Jenna and a brother Devon … Pursuing a Master of Science in sport management with a concentration in collegiate athletic administration.
