2024: Started all 19 games … one of only a few Chargers to start every game of the season … Played a key role on the backline, helped lead a defensive unit that posted multiple shutouts and held opponents to under two goals in several conference games … Logged a career high in minutes played.

2023: Named a National Field Hockey Coaches Association Scholar of Distinction and to the Academic Squad … Earned Academic Excellence accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll and named to the New Haven Dean’s List following the Fall 2023 semester … Made an appearance and started in 13 games all as a key member of the Chargers back line.

High School: Played four years of field hockey for the Ganders of Rondout Valley High School … Served as team captain for one season … Also competed on the indoor and outdoor track and field teams … Helped lead her team to Section IX Championships all four years and a Regional Championship in 2021 … Advanced to the State Final Four in 2021 … Received the State Championship Team Sportsmanship Award following the 2021 postseason run … Named First Team All-Section IX in 2021 and 2022 and Section IX All-State in 2022.

Personal: Daughter of Mary and Chris Schoonmaker … Has three youngers sisters; Lauren, Ella and Vera … Comes from an athletic family background - Aunt Danielle played field hockey at Albany, Aunt Jenn played field hockey at SUNY Cortland, Uncle Dan played baseball at Albany, Cousin Lily is currently a junior on the field hockey team at Colgate and cousin Sopia is currently a sophomore on the field hockey team at Albany … Majoring in biology.
