The University of New Haven and its Athletic Communications staff strive to make its players and coaches available to the media in a timely and reasonable fashion.
SINGLE GAME CREDENTIAL REQUESTS: Single-game media requests must be submitted via email to Conor Doherty (cdoherty@newhaven.edu) 48 hours prior to game time. Details needed include: person's name and media affiliation. Credentials are not transferable and may be removed for noncompliance or violation of NCAA Media Policy.
SEASONAL CREDENTIAL REQUESTS: Season credentials must be submitted to Conor Doherty via email no later than August 25 (football) and November 1 (basketball). Seasonal credentials will be accepted for all New Haven Football and Basketball home games. Details needed include: person's name and media affiliation. Credentials are not transferable and may be removed for noncompliance or violation of NCAA Media Policy.
POST-GAME INTERVIEWS: Following an NCAA-mandated 10-minute cool-down period, New Haven will make head coaches Mark Powell, Ted Hotaling, and Deborah Buff, as well as student-athletes, available in the Charger Film Room.
PHOTOGRAPHERS: Only photographers on assignment will be allowed access to the photography sections of Ralph F. DellaCamera Stadium and The Hazell Center. Spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, but will also be taken up by New Haven Athletics Department staff. Credentials must be shown to law enforcement and be worn at all times on field level. Photographers are not permitted inside the red zone on the back of their credentials under any circumstances.
PRESS BOX: Press box access will be limited to two or three media members per game, depending on team personnel from the visiting school. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.Â
