Student Managers are essential to the day-to-day operations of Charger Athletics. The purpose of the New Haven Athletics Student Manager Program is to support the Department of Athletics and its 17 varsity athletics teams in all facets of their operations. Student managers are assigned to one athletic team for their career, and assist the coaching staff during practices and games, as well as equipment, recruiting, and travel operations. Each coach and support staff will utilize student managers in the best way they see fit for their program so that the coaches can coach and players can play.
