Emily Lowell recently completed her second season as a graduate assistant coach with the Chargers in 2019.
Lowell comes to New Haven following a decorated field hockey career at Castleton University in Vermont. In all, the forward collected 33 career goals including a career-high 17 during her senior, along with eight assists for 74 total points over three seasons with the Spartans.
In 2017, Lowell collected a variety of postseason accolades, as she was named the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year, named to the Longstreth/NFHCA Division III New England East All-Region First Team, North Atlantic All-Conference Team, and was the Castleton Field Hockey MVP. She was also named to the North Atlantic All-Conference Team and All-Academic Team in 2016.
At Castleton, Lowell was also involved in Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), where she was a member of the social media board. She also spent time coaching at the Spartan elite Camp for three consecutive years.
During her undergraduate career, Lowell interned with the Middlebury College Field Hockey Team, was an assistant at the North Eastern Athletic Conference, and served as a Special Events Associate for Major League Lacrosse (MLL).
Lowell completed her Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration in 2018, and is currently pursuing her MBA at the University of New Haven.
