Anthony DiMichele

Anthony DiMichele returns for his second season at New Haven in 2016. DiMichele will work with the Chargers secondary.

DiMichele was a four-year standout on the Holy Cross football team, a member of NCAA Division I. As a defensive back, he collected over 230 total tackles, including 200 solo stops. DiMichele is a two-time All-Patriot league honoree, including first team distinction in 2009. Following his junior year, he was named a Third Team All-American by the SportsNetwork, received the Crusaders Davitt Award as the top defensive back and was named WWFX Defensive Player of the Year.

After posting a career-high 83 tackles as a senior in 2010, DiMichele was named to the Patriot League Second Team All-Conference as well as being named the Crusaders Most Valuable Player and Unsung Hero and receiving the team’s Sportsmanship Award. DiMichele graduated from Holy Cross in 2011 with a history degree.

After graduating, DiMichele spent one season (2012) playing overseas for the Seamen Milano in Italy.
