Anthony Mortali begins his third year as the Equipment Manager for the Chargers, and his 10th year overall at New Haven having previously served as a linebackers and safeties coach with the football program.

In his current role, Mortali is responsible for all purchasing, distribution and maintenance for Athletic Department equipment for all 17 of the Chargers varsity sports programs.  He will also directly supervise all football equipment operations, including game day set up for home and road contests.

Prior to joining the Chargers football program, Mortali attended Sacred Heart University where he was a linebacker for the Pioneers from 2005-08 while also a member of the men’s lacrosse team. A 2009 graduate with a degree in history, Mortali is the brother of Chargers’ assistant football coach Michael Mortali and the son of Associate Head Football Coach and Athletics Hall of Fame inductee Tony Mortali, Sr.
